Granderson bat day at the Stadium leaves Curtis looking for something to hit with

It was a nice sunny summer like day in the Bronx. Kids and adults who acted like kids made their way into Yankee Stadium to get their hands on a free Curtis Granderson replica bat. It was Yankees bat day, one of the best days of the year.

Everyone was enjoying themselves, well almost everyone. Yankees bat day is a tradition and supposed to be fun, but things got a little out of hand when Granderson's real bats were missing.

"He ain't have anything to hit with." said Bourbon Peters an envelope licker from FedEx. "I made my copies in the morning, licked 3,000 envelopes and then headed to see Granderson at the Stadium. He didn't have any bats. Crazy I tells you.... crazy."

Apparently, the giveaway was going so well that a janitor figured he would try to make a name for himself by bringing more bats to give away.

"I thought I was helping. I guess I was wrong." Antonio Watson said. "I was down emptying some trash and saw some bats that said Granderson on them. How the hell am I supposed to know? I just grabbed them and handed them out to every person I could find."

This must have left Curtis puzzled and eventually got Antonio grounded by Yankees management.

"I have to write on a chalk board 40 times that I won't take anymore bats. I understand now. They didn't say anything about taking their gloves though." he added.
