Mark Teixeira says I'll be there. Just like the Michael Jackson song.

Everyone is waiting for Alex Rodriguez and Mark Teixeira to start hitting and be productive members of the Yankees. It would be nice if they started hitting, seeing that they currently make a combined 4 billion dollars this year.

In a stunning move today, Joe Girardi moved Teixeira down to 7th in the batting order vs. KC. Quite embarrassing if you ask me, but probably a fair move.

"It's not an embarrassing spot in the lineup." said grass collector and Jason Nix fan Armondo Duggets. "7th is a fine position in the lineup. Jason Nix has been batting there and he is awesome."

Actually Jason Nix has been better than Tex. And for the record, we also would like to point out that Russel Martin sucks this year. Girardi keeps saying that he is in there for defense and any offense is a plus. Offense is not a plus. You are getting paid millions of dollars, you should also learn how to hit the ball again. You did before.

Anyway, Girardi thinks this might jump start Tex. We sure hope so as his latest quotes says he will be there (stat wise) at the end of the year.
