Rumors of AJ Burnett having to wear a For Sale sign around his neck FALSE

PJ Bardson, a local ant breeder, had reported earlier in the week that Brian Cashman was looking to unload pitcher AJ Burnett. He later said that Cashman had gone as far as to make AJ wear a "For Sale" sign around his neck to help drum up some interest from MLB teams. That report has since been shot down from friends of Bradley Miller, a sweet tea enthusiast, and PJ is now considered a fibber amongst his peers.

"It was ridiculous to think Cashman would do that." said Buck Greenberg one of Bradley Miller's friends. "I do believe that Cashman posted AJ on Craigslist, but a For Sale sign? Absolutely absurd."

We checked Craigslist and did see a post, but it was for a washer and dryer.

"I would rather have a washer on the mound than AJ." Buck Added. "What kind of fabric softener smells nice? Is it Arm and Hammer? I've always loved Arm and Hammer products. I use it on my teeth and on my pits. I have no beef with Arm and Hammer what-so-ever. On the one hand you have an arm and on the other you have yourself a hammer. Brilliant."

We don't get the tangent that Buck went on with Hygiene, but we would also have a washer on the mound. Especially now that AJ knows that the Yankees are trying to unload him.

That can't do much for his confidence.
